Traction batteries type PzS/PzB with bolted connectors

Capacity and reliability of this tubular positive plate range have been increased due to the use of advanced components and to improvements in the design.

The bolt-on connectors allow cells to be replaced or moved more easily.

The optimisation of the cell capacities and heights offers improved battery performances for serving the wide market of industrial electric trucks applications, from low duty to heavy duty in multi-shift operations.

All these improvements allow EnerSys AD to offer high quality batteries to meet high all requirements in higher running time, availability and longer life expectation.

The Energia Pro range is available in DIN and BS series in accordance with EN 60254-2 standard.

The batteries can be supplied dry charged, which provides for easy storage and transportation.

Special Batteries

•	Customised batteries for the mining industry. Explosion-proof rate ExeI. 80V to 120 V range , capacity of 350 to 640 Ah. They were certified in MAKNII - Ukraine in 2001. They show good results in service.
•	Batteries for lighting of railway carriages. That type of batteries works well under low-temperature conditions. Supplied as 2V cells and 4V and 6V modules of capacity from 350 to 450Ah. These batteries are a successful replacement of the iron-nickel and nickel- cadmium cells and their price is considerably lower. They are easy to use and maintain. Their recycling is easy and cheap.
•	Starter batteries for diesel locomotives with flat plates. Their capacity ranges from 310 to 450 Ah. Supplied as modules of 4, 6 and 8V and various voltages The battery module design facilitates their use and maintenance.
